Thrill The World on vuosittain järjestettävä maailmanlaajuinen tapahtuma, jossa osallistujat tanssivat Michael Jacksonin Thriller-kappaleen koreografian samaan aikaan ympäri maailman. Tapahtuman tavoitteena on näyttää että kuka tahansa voi tanssia, levittää tanssin ilosanomaa, sekä yrittää rikkoa maailmanennätyksiä suurimmalla samanaikaisella joukkotanssilla.

Tänä vuonna Suomen Thrill The World järjestetään Tampereella lauantain 23.10.2010 ja sunnuntain 24.10.2010 välisenä yönä klo 02:00. Zombiksi pukeutuminen Thriller-teeman mukaisesti on suotavaa (ja erittäin hauskaa), mutta ei pakollista. Tanssi on helppo oppia, esimerkiksi katsomalla virallisia opetusvideoita osoitteesta http://www.thrilltheworld.com/learn/videos tai tulemalla Tampereella järjestettäviin harjoituksiin. Viime vuonna Helsingissä tanssi 90 ihmistä, ja maailmanlaajuisesti yhteensä 22,596 ihmistä. Video Helsingin tanssista alla:

Thrill The World is an annual worldwide simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson's “Thriller”. The purpose of the event is to have fun while dancing, show that everybody can dance, and try to break world records.

This year, Finnish Thrill The World is in Tampere on the night between saturday (23.10.2010) and sunday (24.10.2010) at 02:00. It's possible (and fun) to dress up as a zombie, if you want to, but it is not necessary. The dance is very easy to learn, either by watching the instructional videos at http://www.thrilltheworld.com/learn/videos or by coming to rehearsals which are going to be arranged somewhere in Tampere. More information about the rehearsals coming up later.

Last year, we had 90 zombies dancing in Helsinki, and 22,596 zombies dancing all over the world. A video of the dance in Helsinki is above.

Thriller tanssitaan tänä vuonna poikkeuksellisesti kahteen kertaan. "Thrill Time" Suomessa on lauantain 23. lokakuuta ja sunnuntain 24. lokakuuta välisenä yönä klo 02:00.

Suomessa tanssitaan tänä vuonna Tampereen Keskustorilla sekä Helsingissä.

This year Thriller will exceptionally be danced twice. The Thrill Time in Finland is October 24rd, at 2AM (on the night between Sat and Sun).

In Finland, Thriller will be danced in Tampere at Keskustori and Helsinki this year.
